Image says Hotline Information

One of the best things you can do to help a friend or family member who is experiencing domestic violence is to become informed and direct her to community services. A great place to start is by calling the Virginia Family Violence & Sexual Assault Hotline at 800-838-8238 (v/tty). While you might think a “hotline” is just for someone experiencing abuse, it’s much more than that. It’s a place where you, as friends and family members and others in the community who want to learn more about domestic violence, can call and speak to a real, live person in a confidential setting.
